"Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10

Updated: May 3, 2020

The original Hebrew root of "Be still" does not mean to be quiet ~ it means "let go".

Let go and know that I am God!

Let go of worry - about finances, sickness, what will happen tomorrow!

Luke 12:25-26; 31 tells us "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? But seek His kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well."

Let go of trying to control your job, your spouse, your children!

Let go of your unforgiveness and anger!

Let go of your past!

Let go of what you can’t control - and rest in the knowledge that God is in control!

"In this world you will have trouble......."

John 16:33

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

In the middle of the storm we can "Be still" and know that He Is God!
